Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park and is world famous national park where can get a close-up view of free-ranging elephants. The park's ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland and spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border. Amboseli is home to the big five (African Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino) and other animals including the giraffe, cheetah, impala, the hyena and the wildebeest.
Lake Nakuru National Park
The park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is known as one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, situated in southwest Kenya and is part of the northern section of the Serengeti National Park. Famous for the abundance of the big cats, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress.
Magically placed in the heart of the Indian Ocean between India and the East African coast, the Seychelles is one of the leading holiday destinations in Africa. The archipelago is made up of 115 islands spread across an area of more than 400,000 sq km.
Mahe is the largest island and is dominated by a mountain range that forms the backbone of the island. Morne Seychellois, the highest summit is 905m tall and offers a good backdrop to Victoria, the capital city of Mahe.
The second largest island, Praslin is famous for white sandy beaches, especially Anse Lazio --which has consistently been voted one of the world's best beaches. Praslin beaches offer excellent snorkelling and are safe for bathing. The island is a perfect jumping off to explore other islands such as La Digue, St. Pierre, Cousin and Curieuse.
Day 1: Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) - Amboseli National Park
You will be received at the airport on your arrival by a Silverbird Travel representative and soon after depart on a journey towards the Amboseli National Park (please book morning flight into Nairobi) where you will arrive at the Amboseli Serena Lodge, at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, in time for lunch.
Afterwards you will embark on a late afternoon, early evening game drive in the park till sunset when you will return to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
You will embark on a morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. You will then relax at your leisure until lunchtime when you shall have lunch. After lunch you will enjoy game drive from the late afternoon till sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park
After having breakfast, you will depart Amboseli for the Lake Nakuru National Park. Once you arrive, you will head for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Camp followed by an extensive afternoon conducting game drives in the park. At sunset you will return to the camp for dinner and to rest for the night.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You will have breakfast and then embark on a journey towards the Maasai Mara Game Reserve through the floor of the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch after which you will embark on a late afternoon and evening game drive till sunset. After sunset you will return to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.
Day 5 – Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You will spend 2 full days in the Maasai Mara plains doing game drives and on keeping the look- out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. There will also be optional evening visits to Maasai cultural village to learn their culture and dances. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at the Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi (Serena Hotel)
After having breakfast you will depart for Nairobi driving across the Great Rift Valley. Along the way you may briefly stop at the Rift Valley View Point to view the escarpment and Mount Longonot in the background and take the opportunity to take photographs.
When you arrive in Nairobi, you may stop in the Nairobi suburb of Westlands for lunch at your own cost before you end your journey at the Serena Hotel. There will be an early evening transfer to the famous Carnivore Restaurant for dinner before returning to the Serena Hotel for the night.
Day 8: Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) – Seychelles (Seven Degree South Resort)
After having breakfast in the hotel, the driver will transfer you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight to Seychelles. You will arrive at the Mahe International Airport and a representative of Seven Degree South Resort will pick you from the airport and transfer you to their hotel. You will be accommodated in a double junior suite and you will be able have breakfast and dinner at the hotel during your stay.
Day 09 – Day 11: Seychelles
During your three day stay in the Seychelles you can spend time on the beach, tour Mahe, embark on island excursions etc. Activities outside the resort will attract a charge.
Day 12: Seychelles – Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport)
You will have breakfast at the resort and a representative from the Seven Degree Resort will transfer you to Mahe International Airport to catch your 1410hrs KQ 451H to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, arriving in Nairobi at 1620hrs. You’ll then connect your international flight home.
