The Kenya Association of Travel Agents is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Amref Health Africa to provide KATA certified agents with access to Covid19, PCR testing services provided at their Amref clinic based on a preferential tariff, access to a dedicated call center and a medical team that is ready to facilitate the Covid19 PCR testing services by appointment.
The Covid19 pandemic has mandated that passengers must undergo a mandatory PCR test and they must test negative prior to undertaking their travel. The KATA and Amref Health Africa partnership will enable the travel agents to book test appointments on behalf of the passenger, and to secure an appointment for the Covid19 PCR test to be performed at the Amref clinic located next to the Wilson Airport, off Langata road.
This service will ensure that passengers are not exposed to crowds as the services will be offered by appointment, hence safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the passengers. Amref Kenya has been dedicated to the provision of high-quality medical services, which are also supported by their flying doctors rescue services.
Through this strategic partnership, Amref Health Africa will provide KATA certified agents with dedicated medical services on demand basis.
