Tour the Matopos Hills which are rich in history dating back more than 300,000 years. In 2003, the area was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 3,000 registered San rock art sites are dotted across the area in caves and crevasses. In more recent times the hills were of great significance to the Ndebele people, their name meaning ‘Bald Heads” was given by their founder Mzilikazi. The Hills are the resting place of the country’s most famous colonial icons including Cecil Rhodes, Leander Starr Jameson and Allan Wilson and his ill fated Shangani Patrol.

This tour also takes you to Hwange National Park which is Zimbabwe’s biggest reserve. It is home to a profusion of wildlife, including giraffe, lion, zebra and approximately 40,000 elephants. It provides sanctuary for all the country’s endangered species, including a population of wild dogs thought to be among the most sizeable surviving groups on the continent. Terrain ranges from desert dunes and Savannah lands to rocky outcrops and sparse forests, and visitors have the choice of game drives, guided walks or horseback safaris as a means of experiencing the park and its creatures.

Day1: Matobo National Park

Arrive at JM Nkomo international airport, be transferred to matobo hills national park. Enjoy your lunch at your preferred lodge in the park.in the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive to view the nature itself. Dinner and overnight at your preferred lodge .

Day 2: Historical Tour

Day 3: Hwange National park Today you will transfer by road to Hwange National Park which is Zimbabwe’s biggest reserve, home to a profusion of wildlife, including giraffe, lion, zebra and approximately 40,000 elephants. Day 4: Hwange National Park

On this last day you are woken up at dawn once again to search for the Savannah and forest for predators and see the sun rise, on this day we will do our activity with a difference, a walking safari accompanied by national park professional safari guide with a gun, we walk from the main camp to a private concession nearby, we will get back into our game drive vehicles and return back to the hotel for our breakfast and then after breakfast relax at the hotel pool for the rest of your day.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to JM Nkomo international airport for your international departure.
