Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda in East Africa. The park is part of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and is situated along the Democratic Republic of Congo border next to the Virunga National Park and on the edge of the Albertine Rift. It comprises 331 square kilometres (128 sq mi) of jungle forests.

The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees and many birds (such as hornbills and turacos). It is perhaps most notable for the 340 Bwindi gorillas, half the world's population of the critically endangered mountain gorillas. There are four habituated mountain gorilla groups open to tourism: Mubare; Habinyanja; Rushegura near Buhoma; and the Nkuringo group at Nkuringo.

Day 01: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport - Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

This exciting journey will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park the home of the Endangered Mountain Gorillas with a stopover at the Equator for photos. Getting to this home of the Mountain Gorillas you may fly or pass through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns, through the Kigezi highlands, known as the "Switzerland of Africa", with terraced farming and mountain scenery at its best to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Day 02: Gorilla tracking (Can take 5 - 7 hours)

At 06:00 Hours have a cheerful cup of coffee in preparation for the most interesting activity in the world.

You shall be guided by very experienced English speaking guide. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas, where the time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these fantastic apes. The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giants is a rare and moving adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact with each other. Packed lunch will be provided.

Dinner and accommodation at your lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 03: Departure - Entebbe International Airport

After breakfast and checkout / transfer to Airstrip for return flight. (Breakfast).

1. Transport in a safari built 4x4 Landcruiser or a minibus with a top-up roof for photographing.
2. Meet and Greet service by our local representatives at the airport.
3. Roundtrip transfers airport / hotel.
4. Accommodation and Meals as indicated above.
5. 1-litre bottled mineral water per person per day whilst on safari.
6. Services of a professional English speaking driver guide.
7. Game drives, Accommodation, sightseeing and excursions as described in the itinerary.
8. Applicable local and government taxes on accommodation and transportation.
9. Temporary membership to Emergency Medical Evacuation Service whilst on safari.

2. Medical insurance, tips / gratuities for driver / guide and hotel staff, any change in itinerary.
