Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. Tour Bwindi National Park which offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates.

As well as Lake Bunyonyi which is in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale close to the border with Rwanda. It is believed to be the second deepest lake in Africa, Lake Bunyonyi is a body of water in southwestern Uganda near the Rwandan border, and one of the country’s top natural treasures.

Day 1: Kampala city - Lake Mburo National park

After breakfast, leave Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park via the Equator, take some photos and take time to have a look at the traditional drums and crafts before proceeding to Masaka for lunch. After lunch, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Evening games drive 4:30pm to view animals such as the Eland, Topis, Impalas, zebras and many more. Return for dinner and overnight

Day 2: Lake Mburo National – Bwindi Gorilla National park

Depart Lake Mburo to Bwindi after breakfast proceeding later to Bwindi through the valleys of Kigezi. Arrive late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park

At 7.45am you will receive a pre-briefing and at 8.30am you will start the gorilla trek. The guides will then take you through the bush pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas.

Lunch shall be served at your accommodation, afternoon, take a guided walk on the Munyaga River trail, which is an ideal short walk. This trail leads to three delightful crystal clear waterfalls, and there is a profusion of tree ferns, epiphytic ferns, orchids and Bwindi’s colorful array of butterflies. Here you may also see birds and primates from the forest edge; dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi National Park – Lake Bunyonyi

Depart Bwindi for lake Bunyonyi after an early morning breakfast arriving for lunch and proceed for a boat ride in the afternoon on a traditional boat around the lake where you will be able to see Otters and birds like pied kingfishers and swallows.

You can also enjoy a bilharzia free-swimming experience on the lake and sun bath. After this days’ gorgeous adventure you will return for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi – Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, you leave for Kampala via Mbarara where you will have a stop over for lunch at Agip motel then later hit the road to Kampala arriving late afternoon at your hotel / Entebbe to catch your flight.


1. Transport in a safari built 4x4 Landcruiser or a minibus with a top-up roof for photographing.
2. Meet and Greet service by our local representatives at the airport.
3. Roundtrip transfers airport / hotel.
4. Accommodation and Meals as indicated above.
5. 1-litre bottled mineral water per person per day whilst on safari.
6. Services of a professional English speaking driver guide.
7. Game drives, Accommodation, sightseeing and excursions as described in the itinerary.
8. Applicable local and government taxes on accommodation and transportation.
9. Temporary membership to Emergency Medical Evacuation Service whilst on safari.

2. Medical insurance, tips / gratuities for driver / guide and hotel staff, any change in itinerary.
3. Any extras not mentioned above e.g. extra meals, Visa fee.
4. Gorilla permits per person in Bwindi National Park in Uganda.
5. All Bank transfer fees while making the payments at USD 50 Nett per remittance transaction. Credit card payments will attract 5% surcharge of the total price of the package.
