Day 1: Arrive Oman

Welcome to Oman – where beauty has an address. Upon arrival at Muscat International airport, get transferred to your Hotel. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat (with Optional Dolphin Tour)

Breakfast. Proceed for a Half day city tour of Muscat city which offers the visitor a unique opportunity to witness a modern commercial centre existing in harmony with its traditional culture. With its natural harbour, Muscat means “Anchorage” & lies in a natural volcanic bowl.

Our tour of the Grand Mosque & Bait Al Zubair Museum is a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the colourful Muttrah Souq. We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked by the 16th century Portugese forts Mirani & Jalali.

(You have the option to add Dolphin watching during the city tour with a supplement cost).

In the evening opt for a Twilight Dhow Cruise with a brief stop a natural cove. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 3: Muscat – Nizwa – Jabal Shams Oman’s Grand Canyon

Breakfast. Start a full day tour by driving to the foothills of the Jebel Akhdar mountain range. Our first stop is at the Nizwa Souq famed for its intricately hand-carved “Khanjars” and silver jewellery. A brief photostop at the Round Tower Fort before proceeding ahead.

Our next stop takes us to Wadi Nakher located in the depth of our deepest canyon. Visit Misfah a pretty mountain village with stone dwellings still in existence. While heading for Jebel Shams stop at the terrace farming village of Wadi Ghul. In the Jebel Akhdar range Jebel Shams the highest peak offers a spectacular view.

Overnight in Muscat.

Day 4: Muscat (with optional Batinah Bash Excursion)

Breakfast. A full day tour along the Batinah coast. Our first stop is the Seeb Fish Souq by the seaside. Drive through the date palms to the sparkling springs and Fort at Nakhl. Visit the beautiful Wakan Village famous for its terrace farming.

Our next stop is Wadi Abhyad which has large patches of white sedimentation and when translated means white wadi. The drive winds through the mountains with small pools of water dotting the wadi bed.

Overnight in Muscat.

Day 5: Depart Muscat

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight back to home.
