Explore Lake Elementaita with its spectacular birdlife - over 400 species have been recorded. The lake is a protected area and is a Unesco heritage site. At the southern end of the lake is "Kekopey" hot springs which has rich fishing grounds and where the Lake Magadi tilapia is bred. This water body forms part of the Soysambu Conservancy established by Lord Delamere during the colonial era. The Rothschild giraffe, zebra, bush pigs, striped jackals and gazelles can also be found here.
