Kicheche Laikipia Camp is located at the center of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the outskirts of Nanyuki, at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking the water hole. 30 minute drive from nyanyuki airstrip.
Accommodation:
Kicheche Camp consists of six luxurious tents fully designed insect proof tents. All the tents have ensuite bathrooms equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet and hot water shower.
Kicheche tents have a private verandah with comfortable chairs overlooking the water hole where many animals are seen drinking water giving the guest a nice chance to view some of the rarer Northern species such as Grevys zebra, Jacksons hartebeest and Beisa orxy.
Food:
There is a spacious well furnished lounge and dining tent with two fireplaces for the cooler evenings. Breakfast and lunch are often taken AL-fresco if weather permits.
Activities:
Walking safaris, game viewing (day & night)in a 4WD vehicle, mountain biking safari’s, lion tracking, canoeing, and visits to the Wildlife Educational centre, Chimpanzee sanctuary and Northern White rhino enclosure.
